Who is Lady J?
Reigning from the city of brotherly love (Philadelphia) She
learned to appreciate the art of music at an early age. She is
well known for entertaining and wowing audiences by singing,
performing or hosting events throughout Los Angeles.
She became an international performer/singer with live bands,
premiering at 5 star hotels and night clubs in Bangkok, Thailand,
taking the city by storm. Her performances sold out completely
while they also aired on local television.
She's acted in both US and International commercials and as
a background actress for independent and mainstream films.
After auditioning and receiving her training at the American
Radio Network, she's become one of the premier independent producers
featuring artists of all kinds. Her love for music and understanding
the plight of the independent artist has driven her to dedicate
not only her effort and hard work, but also her time allowing
artists the opportunity to express their talents to everyone
from coast to coast and around the world.
She has now extended her coverage to film, whereby she screens
and reviews independent and featured films, in addition to attending
red carpet premiers where she interviews A-list artists making
them aware that she is here to make a difference, a statement
and a positive impact on all those she encounters.
Why Lady J Live Radio?
I chose to become an independent producer (having once been
an indie artist) knowing how hard it is to be heard by major
radio stations, and label executives, etc. Exposure is virtually
impossible without representation. If by chance a label does
become interested, your music and image may be compromised to
suit the agenda of the label, the market place or simply to make
you stand out. THAT'S NOT COOL AT ALL unless that's what you
want.
I decided to find a studio that would allow me to have complete
autonomy of my show and allow me to play what ever I wanted,
as often as I wanted; have guests do what they wanted, however
they choose to do it; giving artists the opportunity to reveal
their talents to the world. THAT'S REAL COOL!!!
That means that I pay for the studio. In order to continue
to have this type of platform that is so badly needed in the
music industry, it only makes sense to ask for a small fee in
order to keep it up and running
smoothly, if I say so myself.
